Decision intelligence, responsible AI, modeling, and human-centered decision support.
We envision a future where teams do more than choose among given alternatives. Through a structured, collaborative, testable, and explainable process, they can question the frame, reveal new possibilities, and reshape the conditions behind complex problems.
We help teams frame and reframe complex situations, connect evidence, open and evaluate possibilities, apply structured methods, and use AI responsibly—so they can make defensible choices or identify how the conditions behind a problem could be changed.
Our work sits between research and practice. We translate advanced methods in modeling, simulation, organizational analysis, and AI into tools that can be used in real decision environments.
That means focusing on measurable usefulness: better framing, better coordination, better visibility into risk, and better learning after decisions are made.
"Alba," from the Latin word meaning "dawn," symbolizes the moment when clarity breaks through uncertainty. Just as the first light of sunrise dispels night's confusion, Alba provides the tools to illuminate the uncertainties surrounding strategic decisions, bringing understanding where there was once doubt. It guides organizations from twilight indecision to clear, data-driven insights.
"Arena" refers to the "place of action", a dynamic space where strategic and operational decisions are tested, refined, and executed. It evokes adaptability, openness, and continuous learning.
Together, Albarena (Alba + Arena) represents the union of clarity, possibility, and action: a space where teams see beyond the alternatives already on the table, test what could be different, and turn insight into responsible action.
